Cute stories about Pekingese dogs with lots of pictures. The author connected with many Pekingese owners through Facebook and her work with a Maine Pekingese Rescue (www.littlepawsbigheartspekerescue.webs.com). Even though i'm a Chihuahua owner, I could totally relate to many of the stories of protectiveness and fearlessness of 'little dogs'. I have also experienced my husband saying that he wanted 'a real dog' (meaning large) but then falling in love with our two rescued Chihuahuas.

I received this book in a Goodreads giveaway but that did not impact my review.
